Missing Recipes

Our site will only be able to auto-magically update once the Lorebook adds the recipe... so we can wait who knows how long for Turbine to get the update - or we can do it ourselves manually.

I'm working on fixing the missing recipes on the Lorebook. Once they exist there, how does your site update it's data? I THINK I have Improved Blackberry Jam Recipe fixed on the Lorebook. It at least shows up in the right listings now. Is there some way to test that one recipe with your data retrieval process?

Another issue we need to work out is the recipes that now have multiple results... I will attempt to think of a clever way of getting this added to the site.

The site currently looks at the Advanced search by profession and tier for the list of recipes. Once it finds a match (by name), it goes to the individual page to 'grab' the ingredients. Once it grabs the ingredients (by name) it searches our database for the items and creates the permanent cross-link.

This way, we only have to search the Lorebook once - which keeps this site functioning MUCH faster. Also, if the Lorebook is offline (which seems to happen quite often), this website will still work just fine because our site no longer needs the Lorebook for the data.

Give me a few minutes and I will get you permissions to add/edit recipes on this site. You will find it is an extremely easy process and the site 'builds' all the connections right in front of you!

The Lorebook is up... There are quite a few changes. When I get time, I'll see what those are exactly.

Good news:

They seem to have found a LOT of missing icons.
Found some SoM recipes (haven't checked all of them)
Lot of SoM items are in.

Bad News: 'Improved' Guild recipes are still missing as RECIPES. That's over 100 recipes.

Still checking other things out. I like their new front page.
